AN12 is a model from the Applause`s AN series of acoustic-electric guitars. It is one of two models currently present within this series. It is a single cut dread with aocustic-electric construction. Materials used for the construction of this model include: composite materials, spruce, maple and rosewood. Composite material bowl replaces regular wooden back and side panels, while the spruce soundboard remains on top. This time, it comes with natural color scheme with glossy finish. Also, it is bound in white binding and equipped with a discreet sound hole rosette. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a classical contour, for this model is a nylon-stringed guitar. Piezo pickup is paired with piezo preamp on this model. Maple neck is topped with a flat-radiused 18-fret rosewood fingerboard.
