AC175 is a semi-hollow acoustic-electric guitar from Carvin catalog. It comes with a single cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides and a spruce top. Though the spruce is the primary options, there are numerous alternative top covers. In the bridge section, AC175 features an acoustic bridge made of ebony. TUSQ saddle is found on the top of this belly-shaped bridge. In the electronics department Carvin installs L.R. Baggs ribbon acoustic pickup. It is controlled through a set of controls characteristic of electric guitars. Top mounted volume, bass and treble knobs comprise the controls unit. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a through-body joint. Fingerboard on AC175 is made of ebony, and it comes with 24 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide string nut.
