Besides the regular classical, Cort also makes SFX-shaped nylon stringers. They are placed within the Classical series and named CEC. There are three models, with CEC3 being the lowest, 5 intermediate and CEC7 is the flagship of this sub-series of nylon-stringed guitars. CEC7 comes with a single cut body made of rosewood back and sides with cedar sound board on top. Top panels of Classical series models are made solid to enable stronger and more vibrant tone. Supported with the snap laminated back and sides provide, these models have the optimum tonal properties. Top panel is equipped with black binding and classical rosette. Standard shaped bridge is made of rosewood. Piezo pickup and side-mounted preamp are regular installment for acoustic-electric models of this series. Mahogany neck is topped with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard.
