CEC is a model from Cort`s Classic Series, and it comes with a single cutaway body construction. This nylon-stringer has a body made of mahogany back and sides and cedar top. The top is finished in satin and bound in black. Thin layer of satin lacquer aids the tone projection and gives more air to the wood than more common lacquer finishes. In the bridge section, CEC5 features a rosewood bridge with classic shape. This model features an electronics unit made of Sonicore under-saddle piezo pickup and Fishman Classic 4T side-mounted preamp. The neck is made of mahogany and it is equipped with a classic contour. also, it features a dovetail joint. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it comes with a standard set of 19 frets with no inlays.
