For 2014, Cort has introduced several acoustic and acoustic-electric models and L300V is one of them. This one`s introduced into the popular intermediate series named Luce Series. Purpose of the L300V is to fill in for the lower intermediate spot that`s been vacant for some time in the lineup. Cort makes this one with the compact OM body and regularly constructed neck. OM was the standard body contour and was considered a large body until Martin introduced the legendary dreadnought and Gibson`s jumbo-shaped response. That is when OM became a compact model and when it gave away it`s throne to the dreadnought. Nowadays, OM models have their steady fan base and are present in virtually every brand`s catalog. L300V is one of many Cort makes. It comes with a standard mahogany back/sides and spruce top combination. Tortoise binding, tigerstripe pickguard and triple circle rosette decorate the top. Cort does not install any sort of pickups and preamps on this one, as this is a fully acoustic model. Mahogany neck is attached with a 14th fret dovetail joint and is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Rosewood bridge and Grover tuners wrap the specs.
