NDX series from Cort deals with NDX-shaped models with single cutaways and Fishman electronics. Two models, NDX20 and 50 feature Fishman, while the CQ has Cort`s own electronics. However, NDX50 has Presys preamp and Sonicore piezo pickup. This is a very popular combination for the amplification of acoustic guitars. NDX50 has a single cut body with Florentine cutaway. Though Venetian is far more common, Florentine gives the NDX series fresh and modern vibe. Body of this model is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top is equipped with abalone binding and single circle rosette. Bridge section has a belly-contoured rosewood bridge. Mahogany made neck is made with a 14th fret dovetail joint and standard back contour. 20-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
