SFX is a series of cutaway models with built in electronics and modern appointments aimed at the younger players. Traits of the series include arched backs, slim "V" shaped necks and extended cutaways. SFX-DAO is an acoustic-electric SFX cutaway model and it is a 2012 reinforcement of the SFX lines. SFX-DAO is available in open pore brown and black colors with gloss finish with ivory binding. Pickguard is omitted in favor of tone and the sound hole features a tiger acryl triple circle rosette. The bridge on this model features a belly shape with white pins and white plastic saddle. Electronics department consists of a ceramic pickup and Cort CE304T preamp with on-board controls. The neck on this model is made of mahogany and features a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The shape is a slim "V" contour. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and is equipped with 20 frets and white dot position inlays. Other features on this model include: 25-3/5" scale, die-cast tuning machines and x bracing.
