AXS Dreadnought Cutaway A/E Mahogany comes with a single-cut body made entirely of laminated mahogany. It is a full-sized dread guitar with a deep contour and pretty basic styling. The sound board is decorated with only a three-ply black/white/black binding around the edges, as the sound hole rosette was dropped from the specs list. Lone bridge on the top is made of rosewood and has a Nubone saddle. Beneath the saddle, there`s a piezo pickup which is paired with a side-mounted preamp. This basic electronics unit makes AXS Dreadnought Cutaway A/E Mahogany one of the most affordable acoustic-electrics in the entire Dean catalog. Neck is also made of mahogany and it features the standard C profile in the back. 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on its top and die-cast tuners on the headstock complete this low cost dread.
