Backwoods 3 is the basic model of the Backwoods line of banjos in the Folk series by Dean Guitars. As all major manufacturers from USA, Dean guitars have a special series dedicated only to folk and traditional instruments. Banjos play prominent role in Dean`s Folk series and Backwoods line is equipped with three banjo models. Backwoods 3 comes with a standard-shaped body made of mahogany. It is topped with a metal rim with brackets. Rim is also equipped with an arm rest. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it is paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a set-in joint. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it`s equipped with 22 frets with dot inlays.
