Washburn`s B14 is a banjo from the brand`s Bluegrass series. It is situated around the middle of the palette and it kicks off with mahogany top and resonator. The tone ring is made of chrome with high polish and 24 tension brackets. The bridge on this model is made of maple base with ebony tip. It is combined with a chrome plated trapezoid tailpiece. The neck on this model is made of mahogany with a standard shape and a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 22 frets, dot inlays and synthetic bone nut. Other features on B14 include: chrome plated hardware, planetary tuners, black and white truss rod cover, Remo head and a 25-1/2" scale. The MSRP for this model is set at $1,247.
