Exotica series has one of the most interesting rosters in the industry when it comes to the variety of the tone woods applied on to the models. Padauk, bubinga, zebra wood, mango, koa and the list just never seems to end. This particular model, the Exotica Spalted Maple features a spalted maple top. It comes with single cutaway variant of the grand auditorium shape and it comes in natural color with gloss finish. Black binding and triple circle rosette complete the top specs. Bridge is made of rosewood and it features a standard Dean shape. Electronics consist of Dean DMT preamp and under-saddle piezo pickup. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports a standard contour. Fingerboard is made of rosewood with a set of 21 frets and dot inlays being installed upon it.
