Standard Concert Tone 55 Banjo is one of five banjo models introduced for 2015. Together with other four models, it forms the initial lineup of the rebooted Concert Tone range. Standard-sized and standard-shaped body of this affordable banjo is made of mahogany, high quality metal parts and standard Remo head. The only color scheme offered for this model is 3-Color Sunburst with gloss polyurethane finish. All of the hardware, both on the body and neck, is plated in chrome. Bridge section is a traditional one, consisted of two separate parts. The metal tailpiece is attached to the body with screws, while the maple bridge (with rosewood tip) can be moved around (it is pressed against the top by the strings). Moving on to the neck section, one can find a series standard neck made of high grade mahogany and fit with a rounded V profile in the back (it too is a series standard feature). A bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets is glued to the top of the neck. Banjo-sized frets are adorned with a set of white pearloid inlays and classic black dot side markers. Classic construction also includes a set of five die-cast Fender tuners (four on the headstock and one on the neck).
