Bob Dylan`s SJ-200 Autographed Collector`s Edition guitar is a fully acoustic jumbo with six-string construction and non-cutaway design. Body of this model features full width and depth, as well as vintage styling and traditional construction. Vintage Sunburst with nitrocellulose gloss finish is the only color option available for this fully acoustic gem. Materials used on the body are rosewood on the sides and in the back, as well as solid spruce for the sound board. Top is flat and features several layers of vintage binding. Also, there are two pickguards (a custom Bob Dylan feature) with beautiful abalone inlays. Bridge section of this full-sized SJ is fit with a vintage mustache bridge made of rosewood. It has a bone saddle and abalone inlays. There are no electronics installed on this steel-stringed princess, nor Gibson offers any optional preamps, or pickups. Maple neck with rosewood string is attached to the body with a compound dovetail heel set at 14th fret. Rounded contour guarantees a genuine vintage feel and peerless playability. Only the players too accustomed to the flat and ultra fast modern necks might take a while to get used to this classic profile. On the neck`s top, Gibson installs a bound rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and gorgeous custom inlays. Golden Waverly tuners on the classic headstock are installed in the standard 3+3 arrangement. Tonally, this model hits home and offers the genuine Bob Dylan experience. Vintage styling and fantastic playability, as well as peerless craftsmanship put this SJ-200 into a league of it`s own. Gibson Acoustic sets the MSRP at very high $9,999. Only a batch of 175 copies signed by Bob Dylan will be made before the model is permanently discontinued.
