Dove Modern Classic is a model which belongs to the Square Shoulder series by Gibson. This series is focused on dreadnought acoustics and acoustic-electrics. Dove happens to be an acoustic-electric dreadnought with non-cutaway construction. Back and side panels on this model are made of maple, while the top is made of spruce. Natural color with glossy finish is the only color option available. Top panel features multi-ply binding and a tortoise shell pickguard with a dove inlay on it. Bridge is done in mustache shape and it`s made of rosewood. In the electronics area Gibson installs a piezo pickup/preamp combo. Neck on this model is made of maple and it features a dovetail joint. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it sports 20 frets with split parallelogram inlays.
