Round Shoulder series in Gibson catalog is dedicated to the dreadnought shaped models with slope shoulder construction. Such one model is The Kristofferson SJ guitar. This acoustic-electric dreadnought is designed without the cutaways. Back and side panels on this model are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. Kristofferson SJ comes with Vintage Sunburst color and glossy finish. It is bound in white binding and equipped with a large tortoise shell pickguard. Sound hole sports a single circle rosette. In the bridge section, Gibson installs a belly-shaped bridge made of rosewood. Fishman supplies the Matrix pickup and preamp for Kristofferson SJ model. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, split parallelogram inlays with custom 12th fret inlay and 1.72" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard.
