Hummingbird Custom Koa comes from the Hummingbird Series in Gibson`s acoustic guitar catalog. This one is aimed at guitarists who prefer the tone of Hawaiian koa wood on their flat top steel stringers. The body of this model is made of solid spruce top and figured koa back and sides. Body specs also include multi-ply creme binding, hummingbird pickguard and glossy finish on natural lacquer. The bridge is made of ebony and has white pins. Neck on Hummingbird Custom Koa is made of mahogany and has comfort contour with dovetail neck joint set at 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard features 20 frets and custom Hummingbirds and Flowers inlays. The scale is 24-3/4" long and the bone nut is 1.725" wide. The MSRP for this model is set at $6,906.
