L7-C is a model from Gibson`s Archtop series and it comes with a vintage-styled single cutaway body. It is made of spalted mango back and sides with a spruce top. The top on this model is arched and bound in creme binding. Instead of a conventional centered sound hole, L7-C features a pair of "f" holes. In the bridge section, Gibson installs a height-adjustable compensated rosewood bridge with a trapezoid tailpiece. There are no electronics installed on to this model, as it is a fully acoustic jazz archtop. The neck is made of mahogany and it sports a V contour. It is attached to the body with a dovetail joint and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, split parallelogram inlays and 1-21/32" wide corian nut complete the fingerboard specs.
