Hummingbird True Vintage is part of the Hummingbird line of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made by Gibson Guitars. The series consists of various models and this particular is dedicated to recreating the period accurate specs from the successful Hummingbirds of the 1960s. For starters, the Hummingbird True Vintage has a square-shouldered body made of solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides with glossy finish and multi-ply body binding. The bridge is made of rosewood and has belly-up shape. Mahogany neck features rounded contour and dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and mother of pearl parallelogram inlays with 1.725" wide bone nut. Tuners are gold plated vintage styled Keystones. Hummingbird true vintage is available in heritage cherry sunburst. The MSRP is set at $5007.
