Goldtone is a US brand of steel-stringed folk instruments. Their primary focus is on banjos, mandolins and resonators. The year 1993 was when the first series of Goldtone banjos was produced and ever since this brand is respected for the amount of quality they deliver with their steel-stringers. PBS is a fully acoustic resonator and it comes with non-cutaway body design. Mahogany is the material of choice for back and side panels, while the maple is used for the top. creme binding and high gloss finish over the Vintage Mahogany color complete the top. Bridge on this model is integrated in the resonator cone and it is paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a fat U contour. Rosewood fingerboard has 19 frets with dot position inlays.
