Guild`s Standard Series got updated big time for 2012 with F-20 Standard models in right, left and acoustic-electric variants. There is a total of four new F-20 models. All of them were unveiled at the NAMM Show this January in Anaheim, Ca. F-20 Standard kicks off with a concert body made of solid mahogany back and sides and solid spruce top. The top is bound in ivory binding. Natural gloss is the only color option available for this model. Also, this model features red adirondack spruce bracing and ivoroid sound hole rosette. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood. String pins and saddle are made of bone. This guitar is completely acoustic and features no pickups, preamps or mics installed on, or inside the guitar. The neck is made of mahogany and it meets the body at the 14th fret with a dovetail joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and it features 20 frets, dot inlays, 12" radius and 1-11/16" bone string nut. Other features on this concert include: 24-3/4" scale, gloss lacquer neck finish, chrome plated hardware and Gotoh tuning machines. The MSRP for F-20 Standard is set at $2,499.99.
