Natural High Gloss
The original lineup of the luxurious AE series was introduced a couple of years ago, with AE900 and AE800 models as the flagship options. AE245 was, along with 245JR and 205JR, the opening, affordable option. The new 2018 lineup brings AE800 as the top model and 245 as the series` opening model (not counting the short-scaled JR models). The new 2018 245 is available in Natural High Gloss, with black binding, chrome-plated hardware, black plastics. Core construction features include a single-cut AE body (mahogany back/sides/top), a mahogany neck (AE profile, 14th fret neck joint), a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard (25.6" scale, 1.73" nut, 15.75" radius), an ovangkol bridge (bone saddle, black pins), Ibanez`s own custom electronics (T-Bar pickup/external preamp), and die-cast tuners.
