Despite being currently known as a brand of electric instruments, Ibanez has never abandoned the classical roots and Classical series is a testament to the glorious period of nylon-stringed guitars. For 2014, Ibanez has introduced four new models into the Classical series lineup and G10 is one of them. This model comes with the standard non-cutaway body and a standard wide neck with a 12th fret dovetail joint. There are no electronics featured on this model, it`s a pure acoustic nylon-stringer. Body is made of mahogany and spruce (mahogany in the back and on the sides, while the Engelman spruce soundboard is on the top). Following the tradition, Ibanez makes this model only in natural color with gloss finish and gold-plated tuners. Classical rosewood bridge on the top is fit with a bone saddle. Neck is made of mahogany to match the back and sides, while the fingerboard on it`s top is made of rosewood to match the bridge. Set of six gold-plated tuning machines on the headstock completes the specs list for this amazing nylon-stringer.
