G models in the Classical series are based on the traditional classic guitar concept established over 150 years ago. Some of the models, however, do feature some modern appointments, such as electronics and cutaways. For 2014, Ibanez opens up a new chapter of classical guitars on the world market. G207CWC is their first intermediate class seven-stringed classical guitar. It comes with a single-cut body made of mahogany and German spruce (mahogany on back and sides and spruce on the top). This combination is famous for it`s strength of tone and fantastic balance between bass, mids and treble. On the inside, Ibanez installs the traditional fan bracing. On the top, there is the standard bridge made of rosewood. On it`s top, there is a bone saddle. Ibanez offers this model in Natural High Gloss with gold-plated hardware and traditional decorations (classical rosette around the sound hole and black binding around the top). Mahogany neck is fit with a 12th fret dovetail joint and is topped with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard.
