Dark Violin Sunburst High Gloss
For 2014, Ibanez has introduced a total of four classical guitars with nylon strings and vintage classical bodies. Among them, GA35CE is probably the one with the heaviest alterations and the one furthest from the 1850s concept. This one comes with six nylon strings, standard 25-1/2" scale, flat fingerboard radius and vintage rosette. Other than that, GA35CE serves as a compromise solution for players who are accustomed to steel-stringers, but would like to infuse some nylon tone into their music. Body of this cross-over model is deep and single cut. It`s made of mahogany back and sides and a spruce sound board on the top. Instead of the compulsory Natural High Gloss, GA35CE rocks the gorgeous Dark Violin Sunburst High Gloss color scheme with golden hardware and white binding around the top. Rosewood bridge is fit with a bone saddle and an Ibanez under-saddle piezo pickup beneath it. Ibanez AEQ210T preamp completes the electronics unit. Mahogany neck is topped with a 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (instead of the standard 19-fret fingerboard). Gold-plated tuners with standard classical arrangement complete the specs list.
