M511 is a mandolin from Ibanez Mandolins series of acoustic and acoustic-electric mandolins. Due to the great importance of American market to the brand`s further development, Ibanez maintains a vast line of traditional and folk instruments. M511 is an A type mandolin and it comes with a body made of spalted mango back and sides in combination with a spruce top. This eight-stringer features multi-ply binding and high gloss finish. "f" holes decorate the top and are positioned at the either side of the compensated rosewood bridge. This bridge is combined with a trapezoid tailpiece. Electronics section is non-existent on this mandolin. Neck is made of maple and it sports a standard contour. Rosewood is the material of choice for the 20-fret fingerboard. Dot inlays and 1.12" ivorex nut wrap it`s specs.
