PC15ECEWC is one of three acoustic-electric guitars introduced into the PF series. PF is a line with a very specific assignment, to offer professional performance values in an affordable package. Lot of other manufacturers have this kind of series and this segment of the market is becoming more and more popular. Ibanez response in this area is PF series and judging by a dozen new models introduced for this year, it is doing great. PC15ECEWC is a grand concert guitar with six-string construction and full-sized body. It also features nice and deep contour for a strong tone. Body is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top is bound in regular creme binding and decorated with a vintage-styled multiple rosette. Black pickguard is also there. Bridge section features a rosewood bridge with belly contour. Electronics department on this model, like other PF series acoustic-electrics, is made by Ibanez. Under-saddle piezo pickup is paired with a side-mounted preamp. Mahogany neck on this model is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
