PN15 is the only parlor-shaped guitar introduced at this year`s NAMM at Ibanez booth. It is a part of the PF series of acoustic guitars. PF stands for Performance, which means professional quality offered at very affordable price. PF series 25 and 30 models are now supported by a vast line of models with number 15 in their names, which indicates that they were introduced as opening section of the series. Among them, the only parlor, PN15 comes with a full-sized and fully acoustic body. Mahogany is used for the back and side panels of the body and is combined with spruce. Spruce sound board on top is bound in creme binding and decorated with a double-circle rosette around the sound hole. Bridge section is equipped with a belly-contoured bridge made of rosewood. 19-fret fingerboard is also made of rosewood. It features dot inlays and 1.65" wide string nut. Beneath the fingerboard Ibanez installs a mahogany neck, which is attached to the body with a dovetail joint.
