SGT230E is a part of the SGE series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars from Ibanez. The line is centered around affordable models with special attention being paid to looks of every model. SGT230E is a new model and it will be represented at NAMM Show 2012. It starts off with a non-cutaway jumbo shaped body made of spruce top and mahogany back and sides. This is a flat top model with white binding and a large tortoise shell pickguard. SGT230E is available in vintage sunburst color with gloss finish. The bridge features a standard Ibanez shape and white plastic saddle. The amplification is in hands of a preamp with on-board controls. The neck is made of mahogany and features a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets ad offset block inlays. The MSRP is set at $229.
