Johnson Guitars is a brand of affordable and very well built acoustic and electric guitars and basses. It is one of the smaller, but well established brands with already built strong following on the north American market. Travel Guitar series in their catalog deals with a short-scale acoustic guitars made for people on the move. JG-TR12 is one of few and rare travel-sized twelve-stringers out there. It comes with a small, non-cutaway body made of laminated mahogany back and sides and a laminated sound board made of spruce. White binding, simple sound hole rosette and a solid, belly-shaped rosewood bridge are featured on the top. Mahogany-made neck on this model is fit with a 12th fret dovetail joint and an 18-fret rosewood fingerboard.
