Travel Guitar series from Johnson Guitars brings some of the most interesting steel-stringers on the market. It is aimed at players who like to move around and bring their guitar wherever they go. JG-TR2 opens the series and it comes with intricately designed non-cutaway body, which is made of whitewood. Back, sides and top are all made of whitewood. Johnson Guitars design is specific in that it sacrifices body length and contour, instead of scale. Scale measures regular 24-3/4 with 22 medium jumbo frets on the fingerboard, while the majority of other manufacturers opts fo shorter scale. Neck on this Travel guitar is made of mahogany and it`s attached to the body with a 15th fret dovetail joint. Belly-shaped bridge and fingerboard are made of rosewood.
