D12X1AE is a twelve stringer from Martin`s budget friendly X series. The main features of the line are laminated tonewoods and mortise and tenon neck joints. This particular model is a non-cutaway dreadnought model made of spruce top and mahogany back and sides. This flat-top model is available in natural gloss finish. The neck on D12X1AE is made of rust stratabond with low profile and set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of black richlite for this model and it is equipped with 20 frets, dot position markers and 1.875" wide corian nut. The bridge matches the fingerboard and is also made of black richlite. Other features on D12X1AE include: 25-1/2" scale, 16" fingerboard radius and tear-drop shaped tortoise pickguard. The list price is set at $819.
