With the NAMM show at hand, C. F. Martin is unveiling the novelties for 2015 and SS-GP42-15 is one of the most exclusive additions to the catalog. It belongs to the Limited Editions series with only fifty copies planned for production and world-wide distribution. Meaning that only the very selected few players and collectors will ever get a chance to play this marvel. Price tag also renders this exclusive steel-stringer unobtainable to the majority of players, it is set at whooping $10,999. SS-GP42-15 kicks off with a non-cutaway grand performance body made of mahogany back and sides and a spruce top. Back panel also features the stylish rosewood wedge, while the top is embellished with a masterfully crafted abalone binding. Rosette around the sound hole is also made of abalone. Standard, belly-contoured bridge features a compensated white Tusq saddle with a 16" radius. Electronics department features the exclusive Fishman Aura VT amplification system installed under the hood. Genuine mahogany neck is equipped with a 14th fret dovetail joint and the performing artist profile. Ebony fingerboard on its top rocks a standard set of 20 frets with the gorgeous continuous tree of life inlay.
