PGA-55E is an acoustic-electric variant of PGA-55 and the two share a majority of features. They are both located within the Jumbo Grand series of the Peerless catalog. PGA-55E comes with a non-cutaway variant of the jumbo body, which is made of laminated rosewood back and sides and solid spruce top. The top is bound in a combination of black and white binding. Also, it features a black plastic pickguard. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it comes in belly shape. Amplification duties are entrusted to Fishman Prefix Plus T system. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is equipped with C contour. Rosewood fingerboard sports a set of 20 frets, acrylic dot position inlays, 15-3/4" radius and 1.69" wide string nut.
