Single cut nylon-stringers are not that frequent as steel-stringed ones, but they do exist and have their fan base. This only goes for fully acoustic nylon stringed-guitars with single cutaway. Among six models produced by Valencia under Saga`s umbrella, one is both fully acoustic and single cut. VG-180 C comes with a standard body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board, again a feature more often seen on steel-stringers. Top panel is equipped with multi-ply binding and classical rosette around the sound board. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports a regular, wide contour in the back. This might prove to be a bit uncomfortable for players not used to nylon-stringed guitars. Bridge and 19-fret fingerboard are made of ebony.
