Natural Satin
Orleans is a series of acoustic-electric guitars, made by Schecter Guitars. It is the most recent addition to Schecter`s growing acoustic range. Judging by the acoustic-electric duo, which populates the initial roster, Orleans series is oriented towards both the amateur and professional players. Modern design, Florentine cutaways (Stage model, only), full length 25-1/2" scales and almost electric-like playability suggest the Orleans series was conceived with modern player in mind. Besides the traditional Natural Satin (reserved for Studio model), Orleans series also features Vampyre Red Burst Satin color scheme (Stage model).
Orleans Studio is the base model of the newly formed series. It comes in with a single-cut, flat-top body made of mahogany (back, sides) and spruce (top). Abalone body binding and single-circle rosette are the only decorations. Natural Satin, with black chrome hardware, is the only available color option. The neck is made of mahogany, featuring standard 14th fret joint and thin C back contour. On its top, there is a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.69" bone nut, 16" radius, medium frets). Fishman`s Sonicore piezo pickup and Isys+EQ preamp form the electronics unit. Other major features include a rosewood bridge and Grover Rotomatic tuners.
