The Artist series is, together with the rest of the Seagull catalog, made in la Patrie, a small town in Quebec, Canada. Like the rest of the catalog, Artist models are made of locally sourced wood, with emphasis on sustainability and premium wood quality. The current lineup has seven models, with five being dreadnoughts. Artist Mosaic Element is an acoustic-electric dreadnought guitar, made with a non-cutaway body (solid mahogany back/sides, solid cedar top), 14th fret dovetail neck joint, LR Baggs Element electronics, premium hardware, and sophisticated styling. Natural (w/semi-gloss finish, gold-plated hardware, tortoise pickguard) is the only existent color option. Other major features include a solid mahogany neck, 21-fret fingerboard (unspecified material, 12th fret Seagull inlay, 25.5" scale), fixed bridge (unspecified material), and gold-plated tuners.
