The Artist series offers acoustic and acoustic-electric steel-string guitars made in the town of La Patrie, Quebec (Canada), by a small team of hand-picked luthiers. The current lineup has seven models, five dreadnoughts, one folk and one concert model. Artist Studio CW Element is a dreadnought with a slope-shoulder body and Venetian cutaway. Main features include a single-cut body (solid rosewood back & sides, solid spruce top, creme binding), standard 14th fret dovetail neck joint, LR Baggs Element electronics, vintage styling, and premium hardware. Natural (w/high gloss finish, gold-plated hardware abalone decorations) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a solid mahogany neck, 21-fret fingerboard (1.8" nut, 25.5" scale, 12th fret Seagull inlay), fixed bridge (unspecified material), and die-cast tuners.
