Maritime SWS series from Seagull Gutiars offers high quality acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made primarily of Canadian wood, for Seagull is a Canadian brand, Godin`s subsidiary. SWS in the name of Maritime series stands for Solid Wood Series. All models come with solid wood construction, including Folk High-Gloss model. It is a non-cutaway guitar with folk contour and body made of solid mahogany back and sides with solid spruce sound board on top. This model comes with natural color on the top and dark stain on sides and back. Neck is made of a single piece of mahogany and it sports a well known slim contour, one of the finest in the industry. Fingerboard on top of this neck is made of rosewood and it sports 21 frets with dot inlays.
