2011 Limited Edition model is one of the premium instruments built by Takamine. It is hand-crafted in their top facilities by their best luthiers. 2011 Limited Edition starts off with an NEX cutaway shaped body made of solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. It is available in glossy indigo burst color with custom graphics and white binding. The bridge is made of rosewood with white pins. Electronics consist of Takamine`s own Palathetic pickup and Cool Tube preamp with on-board controls. Neck on this model has a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony with 20 frets, goldfish inlays and 1.6875" nut. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood. The MSRP for 2011 Limited Edition is set at $3,399.

One thing that I would like is marks on the fret board. They on on the side, and the koi fish are on frets 10 - 13. Other than that this is an excellent guitar. I feel connected to it.
