Takamine`s catalog is divided into two main branches, the Pro Series (made for professional players, performing artists and players looking for an elite instrument) and G Series (models covering everything from beginner to semi-professional level). The Pro Series also has the super-exclusive Limited Edition series, a line of guitars where no bars are held and no efforts spared. CP5D OAD is one of the eight currently available Limited Edition models. It is a non-cutaway dreadnought, with 14th fret neck joint, top-class Takamine electronics, and modern styling. Natural Gloss is the only available color option. Core construction features include ovangkol back & sides (solid back), solid Adirondack spruce top, mahogany neck, 20-fret ebony fingerboard, a fixed bridge (w/split saddle), and the legendary Takamine CT4 DX preamp (w/Palathetic pickup).
