Thermal Top series, as its name says, contains models with "thermal tops", which is Takamine`s name for torrefied and aged tops. All of the members of the TT series come in with glossy looks and aged, played-in tone of a road-worn guitar. EF400SC TT is the series` only twelve-stringer. It is a single-cut, amplified dreadnought, made with a flat top, regular 14th fret neck joint, Takamine electronics, and elegant styling. EF400SC TT goes for around $3,000 and is available only in Natural Gloss (w/chrome-plated hardware, black pickguard, fully bound body and neck). Other notable features include Indian rosewood back & sides (solid back), solid spruce top (thermal), mahogany neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.81" nut, dot inlays), belly-shaped bridge, and CT4B II preamp.
