GA5F-MD is one of three GA5 models introduced at this year`s NAMM. They all belong to the newly established Grand Regal series. In addition, they`re all acoustic-electric grand auditorium models with Fishman electronics and single-cut bodies. GA5F-MD kicks off with a standard-sized grand auditorium body (size-wise, solution half way between concert and dreadnought) and glued-in neck. The body is made of Madagascar rosewood (back and sides) and solid spruce (sound board), while the neck is made of mahogany in its entirety. The neck also features a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top and a comfortable, modern contour in the back. Fishman`s Presys electronics system takes care of amplification duties. Fixed rosewood bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
