Takamine`s G series is oriented towards the players who have a straining budget, or are not willing to give a small fortune to be able to play a quality instrument. It`s NEX series is particularly diverse and popular as it brings a fantastic ratio of quality and price. EG463SC is an intermediate model of the line, and it comes with a NEX shaped body with a cutaway. The body is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce top. The bridge is made of rosewood and it features a belly shape. In the electronics department Takamine installs an under-saddle piezo pickup in combination with a TP4T preamp. The neck is equipped with a dovetail joint and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets are covered with dot inlays.
