523 is the universal platform for G-series jumbo models. All are based on it and share a bunch of features with it. EG523SC is a single-cut acoustic-electric variant with vintage styling. Vintage theme is featured through multi-ply binding, tortoise shell pickguard and triple circle rosette with middle circle made of abalone. Also, it features gold-plated tuning machines on the headstock. Amplification of Takamine guitars is mostly done through Takamine preamps and this one features a TK40 Takamine preamp. Natural color option with gloss finish is accompanied with Black, also gloss-finished and Spalted Maple with satin finish. Bridge section on all color options is the same and features a regular belly-contoured bridge made of rosewood. Fingerboard rocks 20 frets with abalone block inlays and 1.675" string nut, it`s made of rosewood.
