Takamine`s G series features affordable, yet high quality instruments. Along with the standard body shapes G lineup offers NEX and FXC, Takamine`s own creations. G260, for example, is a FXC guitar. It is completely acoustic, and has non-cutaway design. FXC, though obviously based on the legendary jumbo, is significantly smaller and belongs to the compact body class. G260`s laminated mahogany back and side panels, and the solid, one-piece spruce sound board prove that the FXC body type has what it takes to compete with the biggest and the loudest bodies market has to offer. Discreet binding and the classical rosette decorate the top. Also, top is equipped with a standard rosewood bridge. 20-fret fingerboard is also made of rosewood. It features standard-sized frets and white dot inlays.
