GD10 is a simple, non-cutaway dreadnought guitar with fully acoustic construction, conservative elegant styling and Takamine`s world-wide famous build quality It belongs to the introductory G10 series which aims at beginners and players who are searching for an affordable practice guitar. There are no surprises or unexpected features on this pretty basic dread. Back and sides are made of laminated mahogany and the top is made of laminated spruce. Slim mahogany neck is attached at the 14th fret and topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard. Full, warm and well balanced tone, as well as more than decent playability are the end result. String-thru bridge (no string pins behind the saddle) and die-cast tuning machines on the headstock keep this chunky six-string well in tune.
