G90 series sits at the top of the Takamine`s G range. It is a line of semi-professional instruments, made for both the studio and the stage. Occasionally, as it is case with this particular NEX, models of the G90 series feature exotic (or "non-standard") tonewoods, or some other exclusive appointment. GN90CE-ZC is a single-cut NEX guitar (NEX is Takamine`s original design, inspired by the perennial jumbo), made with ziricote back & sides (Central American tonewood, with tone similar to rosewood), solid top, 14th fret neck joint, and Takamine`s own electronics. Natural Gloss (w/gold-plated hardware, abalone dot inlays, fully bound body and neck, tortoise pickguard) is the only color option. Other major features include solid spruce top, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, and TP4TD preamp.
