P6JC is one of four models in the current iteration of the Pro Series 6 lineup. It is the only six-string jumbo (the other one comes with twelve strings) and one of three six-string models (other two are compact NEX guitars). P6JC rocks a single-cut jumbo body made of flamed maple and spruce. Solid back, laminated sides and solid top give a strong, bright tone with good response and sustain. Brown Sunburst Gloss with gold-plated hardware, white binding and black pickguard is the only available color option. Maple neck comes with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Electronics section boasts Takamine`s finest pickup/preamp combo - Palathetic pickup under the saddle and Cool Tube (CTP-3) preamp mounted on the shoulder. Auxiliary volume knob and input jack are provided in case the player decides to add a second pickup.
