P6N is a part of the Pro Series 6 line, characterized by abundant use of maple and ebony, Takamine`s own electronics and conservative design. P6N comes as a non-cutaway steel-string with a compact NEX body and comfortable neck attached at the 14th fret. Flame maple/spruce body (solid maple back, laminated maple sides and solid spruce top) is available only in Brown Sunburst with gloss finish and vintage-styled decorations (black teardrop pickguard, white binding and multiple rosette around the sound hole). 20-fret ebony fingerboard sits atop the asymmetrical maple neck. Like its teammates, P6N offers a bright and spacious tone, along with fantastic playability. Takamine`s proprietary Palathetic pickup and CTP-3 Cool Tube preamp comprise one of the best amplification units available on the market, giving P6N an awesome amplified tone.
