12-Fret-GCce-FLTD is a model from the Quilted Sapele series made by taylor Guitars. This series is being introduced within the Fall 2012 Limited Edition lineup. This series main trait is the quilted sapele back and side panels on all models. Also, all acoustic-electric models feature Taylor`s Expression System electronics. 12-Fret-GCce-FLTD is a single-cut grand concert guitar with acoustic-electric construction. It`s body is made of quilted sapele in the back and on the sides in combination with European spruce sound board on the top. Top panel features series` standard treatment with ivoroid binding and single circle rosette. Quilted sapele has a strong low end and it`s warmer than regular sapele, while the European spruce is somewhere in between the Adirondack spruce and cedar with it`s tonal properties. Natural color is the only option, for Quilted sapele on the back and sides looks stunning. Bridge section on this model features Taylor`s standard ebony bridge with bone saddle and ebony string pins. On the other side of the 24-7/8" scale Taylor installs 1.75" wide bone nut. Taylor`s Expression system is installed into the electronics department. Neck is made of tropical mahogany and it has a 12th fret dovetail joint. Ebony fingerboard on the top has a set of 18 frets with solitaires inlays. Hardware featured on this model is plated in gold. The MSRP is set at $4,298.
